Robert Sr. continued the tradition and worked diligently to expand the business and serve Galvestonians.In 1975, the third generation Dee began working in the family business Robert Dee, Jr. I worked in the office located in the one bedroom converted apartment on Avenue O 1/2 starting in high school. I still remember doing tax returns by hand with only a pencil and a calculator. After working at the family business throughout my high school and college years and beyond I later took over the firm in 1996.
