Key achievements• Worked with the CEO to spin the business out of Man Group Plc and raise investment into the standalone new business. Produced and presented financial projections, business plans and model for investor presentations. Led negotiations of legal agreements with lawyers. • Restructured the legal entities of the business and set up all business operations from greenfield environment.• Director alongside the CEO, driving the commercial success of the business. Set up the subsidiary from a greenfield environment including legal entity, and business support functions. Recruited the team and set up operational procedures.• Led reorganisation of in house IT development team, outsourcing and offshoring of development. Then completed internal redundancy programme. • Managed the HR function from setting up policies, recruiting, running redundancy programmes and successfully defending employment tribunal case.

Key achievements• The completion of the FSA regulation of an MGS JV seed Investment Company so that the company could trade independently of the Man Investments regulatory umbrella• Successful set up of two hedge fund management joint ventures, that MGS was acting as seed investor in.• Created new revenue and profitability analysis giving greater transparency to senior management on performance of the business unit. • Created a due diligence framework for reviewing the operational strength of the companies that the business unit had investments with.
