Following Graduate School and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship I worked Four years at Hiawatha Behavioral Health (Chippewa Counties Community Mental Health). I worked for two years as an outpatient therapist and after obtaining my full License was promoted to Clinical Supervisor of outpatient services. During the nearly 10 years I worked for the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indian I supervised the Day to Day operations for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services of the Tribe. As a Psychologist I provided clinical supervision and continued to see clients. During my tenure at the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indian's; I co-authored the Systems of Care Grant that was funded, and was the principal investigator. Tribal Behavioral Health provided services to tribal members and their families. In addition, I began the Integrated Primary Care Program and became the team Psychologist.I currently own a practice with 10 providers, established in 2004, sustained through billing and contracts. Our contracts include: Community Action Head Start covering three counties, EUP Intermediate School District, Sault Health Adolescent Care Center, War Memorial Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for the Chippewa County Jail, Out Patient Therapy Provider for Federal Probationers, and on provider panel for most insurance companies. Weber and Devers provides the full range of psychological outpatient services: assessment, therapy/counseling, psychological and substance abuse evaluations, and outpatient treatment for mental illness/substance abuse/addictions. All our providers are Master level or above, licensed Mental Health Providers; so we offer services for dual diagnoses. As one of the few agencies in the area we see many individuals involved with the local Department of Human Services, courts, and probation. We provide treatment for Children with Behavioral/ Developmental Issues; including treatment techniques for parent's/caregiver's.
