• Responsible for the organization's IT, Decision Support (DS), and Clinical Engineering (CE) services line supporting clinical, financial, and operations• Served on the System’s Executive Team, formulating strategy to improve market, physician network, operations, clinical outcomes and financial position through controls and optimization• Developed and implemented plans to support the re-build of the System’s IT department staff/infrastructure, software system optimization and service offerings to best meet the needs of the organization. • Renegotiated Cerner contracts, to reduce aggregate spend by greater than $15 million while creating vendor alignment secure an additional $5 million in annual savings• Funded mainly via network consolidation / redesign (voice/data consolidation) and negotiations, design / implementation a unified communication strategy (telecom, video, clinical communication) across Kaleida Health and ECMC to replace failing/aged systems• Contracted, developed, and scaled Covid-19 supportive IT technologies to support remote workers, integrated remote video visits, EMR surge, testing centers / automation and vaccine distribution. Kaleida Health performed in the top 10 health system in NYS• Developed a multi-year plan to incorporate AI/ML technologies to best support operations and clinical outcomes and working with SUNY Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine to incorporate this technology into CTSI research• Designed and provided management oversight of the organization’s population health system (Cerner – Healthintent) to ensure proper management of at-risk contracting / federal and state quality programs and related covered lives, including comprehensive analytics. • Consolidation of IT Services/Technologies/Staffing – Consolidation of IT services and infrastructure (Allegany Health into Kaleida Health)
