Assisted in establishing department goals; preparing operating budgets; preparing capital requests. Coordinated equipment and/or process modifications; coordinated new equipment installations. Maintained SOP’s; making revisions as needed.

Managed all aspects of capital projects assigned, including design, equipment procurement, installation, employee training, and startup of each project assigned. Ensured the startup of each project was on schedule and within budget. Organized project team(s); attained consensus on project scopes; obtained bids for labor and material; and wrote capital appropriation requests. Supervised contractors on installation methods and procedures.

Managed the following predictive/preventive maintenance programs: vibration analysis, laser alignment, optical alignment, ultra-sonic tank inspections, rotating equipment balancing, infrared thermography, and lubrication. Trained entire maintenance workforce (90 employees) on laser alignment. Trained co-op student employees to perform vibration analysis on equipment. Maintained equipment records for the above listed reliability programs. Performed root cause failure analysis on equipment.
