Responsible for fire protection, life safety, security, and daily operations of the Hospital Energy Center for a large medical center. The Energy Center provides up to 8000 tons of chilled water capacity; 2700 boiler horsepower at 125 psig; softened water for all hospital and plant needs; medical air for the hospital; control/instrument compressed air; 160 degree domestic hot water; and fire protection water pump station. Continue to function as the Sodexo Facility Solutions (FS) Safety Coordinator for a four state District. Accepted additional responsibility to provide training information, educational tools and support for FS "Safety Corner" web page for Healthcare Safety and Security for the Sodexo National Directors of Engineering in the Facility Solutions Group. Automated a self-scoring, inspection form/teaching/reference tool for Facility Solutions National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Inspections. Serving as a member of the facility Safety Committee, co-chair of Utilities Committee, and co-chair of the Safety Committee. Provide in-house consulting support for HAZMAT, Fire Safety, Life Safety, and Emergency/Disaster Management.

Manage The Joint Commission Environment of Care area of the University of Kansas Hosital. Responsible for oversight of patient environment and regulatory compliance related to operations of the facility including Emergency Management.

Responsible for fire, life safety, hazardous material management, hazardous materials disposal, and medical gas system management. Served as Sodexo District Safety Coordinator for a four-state portion of the Southwest United States. Acted as information resource consultant to other Sodexo facilities and to the National Directors of Engineering in the regulatory compliance areas. Developed a multi-chapter Environment of Care training module for local facility and future national Sodexo Webcast training. Developed and presented Fire Extinguisher training module for delivery via Webcast. Taught Fire Safety and Fall Protection to contract personnel as a portion of a 30 Hour OSHA 1926 course for a large General Building Contractor. Safety liaison between facility and all contract operations.

Implemented various Management Programs including Physical Plant Operations and Maintenance, Facility Engineering, Grounds Maintenance, Construction Management, Bio-Medical Engineering, Housekeeping, Laundry, Safety, Security, and Food Service Programs.. Prepared facilities for; accreditation surveys, CARF, general and machinery liability insurance inspections, and medical malpractice insurance inspections. Developed and implemented facility safety and casualty prevention programs. Developed skill assessment instruments and training programs for facility employees. Conducted nine different specialized personnel training programs for compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA requirements. Participated in the OSHA Safety Trainer program through nine separate programs. Partnered with certified personnel to develop materials and teach Association for Facilities Engineering's Certified Plant Maintenance Manager Review course to 150 + personnel. Pass rate exceeded 98%.Acted as technical advisor, safety, and regulatory compliance support to facility administration in the areas of Life Safety, OSHA, EPA, ADA, National Fire Code, National Electrical Code, and other local building codes. Reviewed and interpreted blueprints, architectural and engineering specifications, and technical data for construction and maintenance projects. Acted as in-house construction manager and construction coordination representative between contractors, architects, and owner for multiple projects. Construction projects included civil site work, paving, underground utilities, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural systems. Experience includes operating and maintaining the computerized maintenance management system and AutoCAD computerized drawing system.
