TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the global network dedicated to Apple advertisingI worked as part of an experienced studio, managing my own work load/projects across variousOOH, digital and print media for Apple. Some of these projects would range from rolling out standard artwork for global campaigns following strict guidelines across different OOH formats, to localisation campaigns working closely with creative directors/teams to create bespoke design/artwork as well as visualisation. I was responsible for checking proofs and signing off final artwork, briefing retouching to external agencies as well as retouching myself. I have attended client facing site tours across Europe to check the quality of the final work as well as liasing and building relationships with vendors. I have worked in LA on occasions as part of a global team on confidential projects. I have always been pro active and have implemented various processes and guidelines to help improve the productivity of the studio/agency as well as the quality and continuity of the work we produced.

The Marketing Store specialises in ideas and campaigns that build FMCG and retail brands such as Adidas, Carlsberg, Weetabix, Sainsburys, Diary Crest, Diageo, Britvic, Kerry Foods and McDonald’s. I mainly produced artwork and visuals in the studio on various projects across all of the brands listed above. After 3 years of working in the studio I was specially recruited internally to head up a studio for the TMS trade division that oversaw all FMCG work. I worked with creative heads and was tasked with implementing new cost-effective processes leading the way for gold standard artwork/design. Whilst at The Marketing Store I gained new levels of responsibilities involving resource planning, budgeting, people management and quality control.

Saatchi & Saatchi X’s unique Shopper Marketing approach provided me with the opportunity to develop communications with strategic intent to inspire buying momentum for our clients shoppers. Working closely with the account teams and creative services I was instrumental in delivering global toolkits from concept stage through to final artwork files. During my time in this role I worked on a number of P&G brands including Pampers, Wella, Head & Shoulders and Oral B. In addition I studio managed the artwork process for Cadbury’s, Starbucks and Diageo brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff and Baileys. This role involved collaboration with the Creative Director to drive creative excellence across each account, plus close liaison with the production team to ensure each final output was delivered as briefed.

Responsible for the day to day running of the artwork department, this involved the scheduling of work flow and also being responsible for signing off of every piece of work. I take pride in making sure we consistently maintained the highest possible standard. The role involved producing repro-ready finished artwork, retouching and some design over a wide range of formats including national advertising campaigns, brochures, POS and direct mail. I am very pro active and consistently implemented any innovation or process that increased the productivity of the studio whilst achieving cost efficient solutions.
