CNC lathe Machinist Programmer, prototype products machining parts to close tolerance from models on Fusion 360

Modify & Capture new cycle times for when blueprints drawings change from the engineering department. Supervise Operators & Ensure that product quality is maintained throughout the production Run. Main responsibilities include:• Set-Up & Programming production CNC lathe to customer’s specifications• Ensure relative machines running nightshift has enough stock material & first-off.• Perform inspection functions using complex precision measuring tools, gauges and equipment to ensure job completion accuracy. • Sit with the planner and making sure that the month's production demand been met with job cycle times is longest & planning accordantly. • Making of turning fixtures & programs for prototype as per engineering drawings• Assisting quality on machines methods for parts where radius & angles not met to drawings because of machine processes.• Assist in the training of new students’ workforce to ensure they meet a high standard of work to the company.

The program, set and operate Tool Room CNC Lathe Fanuc O-T and Siemens 820d. Training Production Floor Setters machine setup and programming. Main responsibilities include:• Implement cost-saving improvements on the shop floor for Insert usage. • Ensure speeds and feeds are correct in accordance with the grade of insert used on the production floor.• Improve cycle time on lathe’s on the production floor (23 CNC lathes)• Backup up all CNC programs on to computer supplied by company. • Programming production CNC lathe• Tool Room work consists of making new development tooling, special components, Machining spare forming Rollers for Metal spinning CNC (POLY’V’) on the production floor.• Assist on a new tool tryout, changing profiles on CAD machine parts modified.• Stand in as tool room supervisor when manager not at work.

The program, set and operate Tool Room CNC machining centre Fanuc O-Ti and Robostar EDM Wirecutter. Main responsibilities include:• Backup up all CNC programs on to computer supplied by the company. • Hand out job cards to toolmakers for tools of repairing. Data capturing job cards on jobs that have been done and costing of spares that has been used. • Ensure production gets the correct tooling as per the production planning sheet.• Creating maintenance history records for all press tooling (capturing tool costing & person who repaired tool (for disciplinary action purpose) • Diagnoses tool problems, preventative maintenance on all press tooling • Upholding welding Fixtures and building new tools and fixtures. • Kaizen meetings (technical department, production and customer complaints)• Provide cost analysis on tools that require re-manufactured and on parts required and active planning chart to keep progress on tools being repaired or newly build (action plans)

Program and set CNC machining centre Fanuc O-Ti and vertical boring mills. Main responsibilities include:• Backup up all CNC programs on to computers supplied by the company. • Always on standby • In charge of all one-off components • Measured boggy frames with faro portable arm (Delcam CAD to capture sizes)

Ensure the quality and production targets is met as per customer. CNC and time improvements. Testing of new inserts and methods to bring down the cost. Main responsibilities include:• Creating job cards on Mynts maintenance computer program • Programming and setting on 5 axes Deckel Maho machining center using Delcam computer programming. • Promote good housekeeping. • Programming, setting and operating of 3 axes lathe (on machine programming) Daewoo puma lathe Fanuc 21ti. • Programming, setting and operating Hyundai/Kia boring mill Lathe (on machine programming) Fanuc 21 TI• Programming, setting and operating Haas machining center Heidenhein control panel.
