During my 32 years’ experience in the property and construction industry I’ve held positions from grassroots to senior management and directorship, amassing significant skills in project leadership, community/stakeholder liaison, risk management, health and safety, strategic governance, financial control, and contract administration.I’d consider my attributes is a unique application of technical and interpersonal skills. These tools allow me to effectively lead and manage all aspects of project and development cycles, and I have been involved with projects in many sectors, including: commercial, industrial, retail, education, telecommunications, leisure, multi- unit residential, resort projects and land development. In 2021 as a Trustee on Trust Waikato. Since 1988 Trust Waikato has managed the investments with a significant investment portfolio, using a portion of the profits each year to support community groups and projects throughout the Waikato region, with a vision for creating vibrant and resilient Waikato communities.I have been on Horsham Downs School Board of Trustees since 2016, with the specific roles of overseeing Property and Health & Safety up until Jan 2019 and since then have been the presiding member of the Board of Trustees. I’ve served as Waikato branch president and national council executive of the Property Council of New Zealand from 2011 to 2015 and was on the branch committee from 2009 to 2018. I’m also actively involved with Northern United Sports Club committee since 2019 becoming club President from 2020-2021. Other past governance experience has included being on HCC Frankton Community Advisory Board (2007 – 2009), Hamilton City Council Environmental Sustainability Strategy Advisory Group (2010 – 2011).
