Take ownership of a small utility application and coordinate with multiple developers and stakeholders to expand functionality into a public facing billing and accounting portal. Import and reconcile numerous sensitive datasets in a regulated (ISO 27001) environment. Oversee large (2 million dollars +) retroactive billing run. Remotely coordinate (using Agile principles) with a team of over a dozen developers to maintain, troubleshoot, and update an extremely large, high traffic real time insurance underwriting backend. Build and maintain infrastructure for collection, auditing, and secure sharing of patient medical records. Create interface for patients to enter, edit, and track medical events related to bleeding disorders. Integrate new Rails application with Android/iPhone clients, and with a variety of legacy backend applications. Maintain a massive insurance underwriting backend and associated test infrastructure. Write applications for performance and load testing backend services.

Enhance and maintain website functionality, including adding code for financial transactions, using Ruby on Rails and it's assorted entourage of tools (Rake, Cucumber, RSpec, Rack, Eventmachine, etc..). Create and maintain a back end messaging and match allocation system for cash tournaments.

Designed and implemented a location aware mobile client that became the basis for all company products on the J2ME and Android platform, and won half a dozen awards, including CTIA Emerging Technology Award and Best LBS Application, Navteq Global LBS Challenge. Modified base client to create a lineup of half a dozen products. Ported mobile clients across three carriers and approximately fifty phones.

Implemented customer specifications for cryptographic firmware products in an embedded, certified security system. Wrote and performed unit and regression tests to verify functionality and specification compliance.
