As the Operations Support Manager, I was responsible for administering the company’s core portfolio and general ledger system, Advent Geneva. I ensured that the application was fed daily with market data and client financial activity. My group maintained multiple databases and other support applications in order to process large amounts of information into, and out of, the core system.I was also responsible for defining some of the company’s policies and procedures, and SAS 70 narratives, controls, and support as evidence.I also handled many small projects, which include new client onboarding, client special requests, custom reporting, custom data integration, ETL, communications, migrations, regression testing, and delivery of data feeds to third parties.

As the ReconNET administrator, I was responsible for administering the company’s main bank and merchant account reconciliation engine. I ensured that the application was fed by several sources of record. The primary source was from the companies POS system which compiled 600+ locations throughout the US and Puerto Rico. This information was used to compare to the bank and merchant account deposits from some 30+ banks and all major merchant credit providers. The information was then compared or “reconciled” and variances were recorded and reported back to the stores. All variances were uploaded to correct the General Ledger each month.The reconciliation engine was also designed to monitor and reconcile corporate checking accounts for positive pay, facilitate transfer of funds up to master accounts, and create wire instructions for payables and receivables to vendors and clients where applicable.I also created custom reporting, and I maintained the companies 401k account reconciliation, annual census and annual audits.

As the administrator of GovernmentOfficeSupply.com, I was responsible for developing vendor relationships to obtain competitive pricing for our internet storefront aimed at a client base of government entities.
