About Robert Driscoll

With a background in both architecture and neurobiology, I approach architecture as an interplay of analytical problem solving and creatively sculpting spatial forms. The interplay must be approached with thoughtfulness and a sensitivity to what it means to undertake architecture, as the results of our work- for better or worse- will remain long past our involvement in them. My interests range from contemporary infill development that strengthens the existing urban fabric, to architecture that engages the civic spirit and adds to the public discourse. At a fundamental level I deeply believe that as designers and architects we have the responsibility to strive to design the best buildings and communities that we can. With experience on projects ranging from a LEED Gold public library to senior living and multifamily facilities, I have a diverse background and wide range of skills that foster lateral thinking and flexibility that is essential for firms to thrive. I have a strong interest in advancing the use of BIM technologies to leverage the time spent in the traditional design process into efficiencies in the construction process. To this end, I am greatly interested in integrated project delivery models that leverage the synergies of a truly collaborative process.
