Under the ownership of Imperial Manufacturing Group, Imperial Metal Services Inc. was founded through an amalgamation between Norbel Metal Service and Pointe Claire Steel in 2023. Between Norbel Metal Service and Pointe Claire Steel, there are three service centres located across Ontario and Quebec. Although the organizations are legally known as Imperial Metal Services Inc, customers may continue to recognize the brands they have grown loyal to, as Norbel Metal Service and Pointe Claire Steel.Imperial Metal Service's head office and largest steel service centre, Norbel Metal Service, started as a family-owned business in 1967. This facility has over 140,000 sq/ft of warehouse space, providing ample space for equipment to produce high quality products at a high volume. This facility currently operates 10 production lines; 3 slitters, 4 cut-to length, and 3 shears. Located at the corner of Highway 27 and Steeles in Etobicoke, this facility is strategically located near all major highways, which supports the company's focus to providing guaranteed on-time deliveries, while supplying the best quality product in the market.Pointe Claire Steel, founded in 2003, has two facilities; one located in Bolton, Ontario and the other in Pointe Claire, Quebec. Pointe Claire Steel takes pride in their long-standing, diverse customer portfolio. This customer base has been acquired through exceptional service, high quality output, and quick lead times.All facilities under Imperial Metal Services bring forth a unique set of strengths, while sharing a common vision and values.
