Lifelong learner and doer who has utilized problem solving and counseling/training skills in clinical, supervisory and training roles throughout career to achieve targeted goals for both the employers and for the individual clients I have served.I began my professional career as the Executive Director of the Wayne Teen Center; increased attendance from the lowest point in the Center’s history to its highest point before I left. Added new programs to the Center, increasing the budget several fold. After 5 years at the Community Center, went on to become the first Program Director of the newly formed Beaver County Day Treatment Center. Ensured regulatory compliance and professional staff supervision as the first director of this program.I then served as a Development Officer for The Devereux Foundation raising over a million dollars total through all methods. This included Annual fund, Planned Giving and Capital Campaigning.After serving in these administrative roles, I chose to return to direct service in the role of therapist becoming one of the early providers of community-based wraparound services, so that I was more in touch with the people I served. I later transitioned to trainer for Kidspeace and SAM, Inc. to assist other staff with their service provision. Services I have provided have included various behavioral therapies, eco-systemic structural family therapy, and CBT.
