Experienced transactional attorney representing both the owner and lender side in business transactions that involve commercial, retail and mixed-use real estate purchase and sale, property development, financing, management and operations. Provides support, guidance and practical advice to clients in the drafting, review and assessment of simple and complex commercial leases and service contracts. Assists clients in areas of land use and zoning; land title, adverse possession and survey review and analysis, issue identification and resolution; preparation and drafting of property easements and temporary use licenses; assisting owners and lenders with loan transaction workouts, forbearance agreements, foreclosures and deeds in lieu resolution. Financing experience focuses on conventional mortgage loans, refinancings, letter of credit/credit enhancement, tax incremental financing, and loan modifications and assumption agreements.
