Dr Dumont is a board certified pediatrician practicing Pediatric Integrative Medicine at the Raby Institute for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern, LLC in Chicago.(USA). He joined the faculty at Columbus Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University in 1994 after completing pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at those institutions. He was associate professor of pediatrics at Loyola University medical center. There he directed the Pediatric Integrative Medicine Program, pediatric nutrition and was also director for the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center. Since 2000 he has been medical director of the Easter Seals DuPage Feeding Clinic and is an expert in pediatric feeding problems. He is also a member of the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia Convention of the United States (make recommendations on homeopathic medicines reporting to the Federal Drug Administration). Practicing Integrative medicine of 20 years Dr. Dumont is board certified in Integrative medicine through the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) and Medical Acupuncture through the American Board of Medical Acupuncture. His training includes: mind/body medicine at the Harvard Mind/Body Institute; medical hypnosis through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Society of Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics; functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine; Homeopathy through the American Institute of Homeopathy and the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy (CEDH). He is currently a senior teacher in the CEDH homeopathy physician training program. Recent publications include a State of the Art Review article on CAM (Pediatric Pulmonology 2011) and chapters on Clinical homeopathy in The Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine – in press, CAM for Parasomnias, (in press); and is co-editor of a textbook on Nutrition and pulmonary diseases (in press).
