I entered the legal profession later in life after a successful business career as the principal of my own enterprises in import/export, residential finance and real estate. My background in import/export which required me to negotiate contracts and business arrangements in Hong Kong, Thailand, S. Korea, Italy, Germany, Nederland’s, England, USA and Mexico, has given me first-hand knowledge and a wealth of experience in Contract Law.I have a certificate IV in financial services and held a full real estate licence. I employed 8 loan writers in a Mortgage Broker Business which provided experience in Property Law and Conveyancing from the purchasers’ perspective.I have a thorough understanding of franchise law. Against the odds I undertook an appeal in the Supreme Court of Appeal NSW and was successful in overturning the primary judge’s decision on liability.
