  Started my career doing various jobs for a while after leaving school before joining the merchant navy I stayed in there for around 15 years travelling the world to some really out of the way places such as Pitcairn island, Easter island, Surinam ,Tahiti, St Helena , not to mention your normal places such as japan, Korea, Taiwan, kiwi, Ausie, Argentina, French Cameroons Basra ,and many many more, in between jobs I had were Milkman ,Undertaker,Anchor operator, Master at arms , Barman, I started scaffolding in 1974 as a labourer doing 3-4 months scaffolding and then 3-6months at sea on Norwegian ships.After emigrating to Australia with the wife & kids we came back as the wife didn't like it much I worked for 18 months in the North sea as a scaffolder Building the platform Beatrice B. Where I started up Red scaffolding ,33 years ago.
