• Building consultant, reviewing and approving building designs to ensure compliance with NZ building code, including ‘C’ documents• Reviewing resource consents, unitary plan, RMA and providing consultation advice as required to ensure compliance to NZBA and Regulatory requirements• Reviewing infrastructure requirements for schools, houses, commercial, hospitals and other associated developments• Advisor to the client / architect to the requirements of the NZBC and regulatory principles, suggesting changes that may be required within the structures design to meet the NZBC / regulatory requirements, as a solution or an alternative solution acceptable to the relevant council requirements• Reviewing of infrastructure, in consultation with Iwi • BRANZ trained to E2/AS1 with relevance to leaky buildings, Res 1, 2 and 3 and Com 1• Achieved National Diploma in Building Control Surveying (Reg 18)• NZ Building ACT 2004, and regulations• BOINZ member since 2006• Consulting on new infrastructure – gas, water, electricity for new developments working alongside Watercare, power providers, Healthy Waters• Working with programmes for network procurement ensuring carbon footprints are provided as per the requirements for Government legislation.
