Devised methodology for gaining member hospital subject matter expert input into corporate policy content. – Reduced anesthesia-related sentinel events to zero and sustained gain for more than 15 months.– Secured $1.1 million in external funding to advance and align corporate PSP with Institute for Health Care Improvement's Rapid Response Team concepts. • Facilitated Command-supported, dental-specific event policy unmatched in civilian dental community.• Received, tracked and trended all patient safety events from member facilities. Identified trends in sentinel events, convened expert panels, developed corrective action plans and published policies.
