While I continue to work full-time at FastHealth Corporation, I have started to write software that will for at least the foreseeable future, will be freeware. Currently, I'm still working on my website which I self-host: www.dutiels-community-software.org. I'm NOT currently running the operation as a business but rather as my hobby while yet offering quality freeware to the public.My website is currently under development, but you are welcome to check out my landing page now and then to see it once it goes live. Right now, the landing page is set up in a way that can be used like a search engine. It uses DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, and Bing search engines: https://www.dutiels-community-software.org. It is a slow process but hopefully, I'll have my site published by the middle to late 2023.Note for those that have viewed my profile in the past. I was hired as a network administrator and as a Visual Basic programmer where I worked directly under the IT Manager. The network I managed was a LAN/WAN comprised of Cisco wireless bridges spanning a large geographic area of roughly a 100-mile radius. The servers I managed were mixed Windows, Novel, and Citrix Metaframe.Key Contributions:- Custom wrote an IT Help-desk system which I also used for end-user support.- A custom network monitoring (Ping) application that would utilize the custom help desk.- Assisted in writing a CO-OP branded software package in Visual Basic 6.0.- Improved network performance by implementing internal DNS (was NT4-based domain).
