Duties:▪ The architectural design of new products and features.▪ Coordinating with the enterprise architecture team on design specifications and requirements.▪ Collaborating with product management, SME's and stakeholders to breakdown the requirements into work items that the team can execute on.▪ Research and implementation of new technology, tools, development procedures and best practices in the team.▪ Development of features for current and new products.▪ Liaising with customer support engineers to assist in complex problems and fixes.▪ Performance Analysis and enhancements with a focus on scalability. ▪ Peer reviews to ensure quality and code standards were adhered to. ▪ Mentoring and upskilling of new and junior employees.

Senior developer, part of the team responsible for the development of integration products for K2.Duties:▪ Development of features for current and new products▪ Ensure that all new and existing software is architecturally aligned with the company's plans and roadmap.▪ Research new technologies to allow K2 to develop competitive and scalable software along with building POC’s (Proof of Concepts) and prototypes where applicable.▪ Analyse and improve existing and new developments to ensure our software is performant and scalable. ▪ Review code to ensure that standards and best practices are adhered to, allowing K2 to ship quality software at all times.▪ Support the existing software by assisting the support teams in resolving customer issues on time.

• Enterprise ArchitectThis role includes the leading, participation and facilitation of various workshops. These workshops vary depending on what is required and can range from the design and/or engineering of a simple business process to the formulation of a regional strategy. This role also includes the administration and management of the information repository, where all diagrams are stored. • Software DevelopmentResponsible for new development of business applications, as well as the continued maintenance and support of new and existing systems. New development included all stages of the SDLC. Other duties include Project management and Quality Assurance of peer developed applications.

Sleutelbord is the student IT body of the North-West University. These were part time jobs.My responsibilities were helping customers on using the internet as well as the maintenance of software for operation of the business.

A sole proprietorship, which specializes in computer hardware, sales and upgrades. My responsibilities were running the Kimberley branch of Navigator Computers. That included sales, as well as upgrades and repairs of computers. Other activities included financial management and management of dealerships with suppliers.
