Responsible for management and leasing of 172,712 square feet of commercial industrial space, 2.5 million square feet of land leases, and 336,631 square feet of aeronautical space on the airfield. Duties included lease administration for Fixed Based Operators (FBOs), parking lots, rental car companies, terminal concessions, and commercial airlines.

As a partner and Vice-President of Operations, successfully navigated complex governmental requirements and processes working effectively with the project team including land use consultants, architects, and attorneys in developing this assisted living and memory care facility from concept through entitlements to construction. Together with partner and managing agent, Westmont Living, Mariposa at Ellwood Shores successfully opened its doors for new residents in 2017.

Responsibilities included managing a portfolio worth over $100 million and establishing annual operating budgets with more than $8,500,000 in annual revenue. Successfully turned around several under-performing assets increasing occupancy by as much as 70%. Responsible for successfully managing a variety of CapEx projects including administering the RFP process, evaluating bids, and making recommendations for owner’s approval and managing the projects from start to finish ensuring bid compliance and a high quality result contributing to a value added result for property ownership.

Specializing in brokerage and property management services to owners of apartment properties, the company managed a portfolio worth over $42 million featuring a staff of 22 including a dedicated in-house Maintenance Division to better serve the needs of assets under management. Services included creating and monitoring property operating budgets with over $3,000,000 in annual revenue. The company’s overall portfolio of apartment properties consistently out-performed the market year after year including in 2004, a very difficult year for the apartment industry, when the company wide apartment vacancy rate beat the Denver Metro Area average by 2.85 percentage points or almost 30%. The ability to consistently out-perform the market was achieved through a keen understanding of current market conditions and the pro-active application of industry best practices.
