Robert Doernberg is a true real estate professional like no other. He is experienced in every single aspect of a real estate transaction, both as an agent with Sotheby's International Realty - Manhattan Eastside and, most recently, as a senior managing director of sales at Corcoran’s flagship office on Madison Avenue. The caliber of Robert’s talent is so well regarded that he has been invited many times to teach his own course, titled “Building Your Business, the Professional Way.” Unsurpassed in his devotion to the real estate field, Robert has helped build and grow the careers of many talented agents in New York. Respected for his integrity, professionalism, and keen eye for every possible detail in luxury real estate, he has helped clients (and their friends and families) sell or buy the homes of their dreams. He started his real estate career as a salesperson at Zeckendorf Company/Worldwide Holdings, followed by several years onsite at 721 Fifth Avenue. In 1994, Robert moved to boutique luxury brokerage Warburg Realty, where he built a career selling condominiums, cooperatives, and townhouses as an associate broker. His success as a broker allowed him to become a sales manager while at Warburg, followed by five years in Corcoran management. Robert is delighted to make his return to the sales side of the business at Sotheby’s. He lives in Midtown and loves every minute he spends with his husband at their Southampton home.
