My professional passions include the practice of law and helping law schools and students achieve their educational and professional goals. I have over 20 years of legal practice experience, with small and large firms, government entities, and individual pro bono work, with an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. My legal practice background is mostly in litigation (and litigation avoidance!), principally relating to labor, employment, and government representation, including the defense of state agencies and officials in civil matters including trials and appeals. I have a varied background in civil and criminal pro bono work, as well as contract drafting and other transactional work. I am licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida, as well as Washington, D.C., the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. I also have 15-plus years of experience in higher education, in teaching, administration, and consulting, primarily in academic success and bar preparation, as well as employment and labor law. In collaboration with extremely talented teams, I have helped the law schools where I have consulted and taught experience decreases in academic and other attrition, and substantial increases to graduates' first-time bar passage rates. I have also consulted with and prepared materials for commercial bar preparation companies. In addition, I have more than seven years of government administration experience at the state and local levels, including contract administration and application/drafting, which has yielded millions of dollars in HUD and other federal awards, especially for Broward County human services initiatives. I am equally passionate about community involvement and have volunteered with at-risk students in public schools, homeless ministries, Legal Aid, and especially my church. I am happily married to Andrea, have three wonderful children, and enjoy playing (currently) seven instruments.I can be reached at: rgregglaw@aol.com
