Manage all work of the firm, which provides planning and development services to cities and counties, specializing in current and long-range planning, housing, neighborhood and downtown revitalization, historic preservation, environmental reviews and assessments, special studies and reports, and community and economic development activities, including federal and state grant application preparation and state certified grant administration and monitoring.In regard to federal and state grant application preparation and grant administration, since the year 2000 I have successfully written applications for and administered 41 grant projects. The projects had a total value of $32,309,787.88, which included $12,409,811.00 in grant funds and $19,899,976.88 in leveraged funds.

Supervisory position that oversaw current and long-range planning, community and economic development activities, federal and state grant application preparation, and grant administration and monitoring for cities and counties within a twelve-county region. Also, conducted special services and projects, and researched and wrote special reports.

Performed all tasks necessary to successfully complete a federally funded three-year project that included completing a historic resources inventory, researching and writing a history of the city's physical development, and drafting preservation policies, goals, objectives and implementation recommendations. Also, prepared the city's Kansas Main Street Program application and applications for listings on the National Register of Historic Places, and assisted the public with answering their questions concerning historic preservation issues, usually involving their homes and other buildings.

Assisted the public with interpreting and understanding the county zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations, processed and analyzed land use applications, including site plans, zone changes, conditional and public use permits, and plat and subdivision maps; and wrote and presented findings and recommendations to the county planning commission and other hearing bodies. Also, assisted in preparing the county's first regulations for the development of wind farms in the lower San Gorgonio Pass area. By January 2008 the area had 3,218 wind turbines that were delivering 615 MW of electricity.
