Working in the international legal consortium for a leading non-profit organization and one of the partners in the Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use. Providing legal advice and technical assistance to governments and CSOs in lower- and middle-income countries on drafting robust and effective legislation, policy development to reduce litigation risks, and defensive and offensive litigation against the tobacco industry. In particular, specialist advice on the intersection of public health with international trade and investment law. Major projects include developing and delivering an 18 month fellowship program in tobacco control policy and law to practicing lawyers around the globe.
