Major General Robert L. Edmonson II (Retired) is an experienced executive with a distinguished 33-year military career and a proven history of developing innovative solutions to meet complex problems and leveraging performance goals and data analytics to achieve desired outcomes. In his final assignment in the United States Army, he served as the Commanding General leading a global IT enterprise comprised of 9K+ soldiers, federal civilians and government contractors at 56 locations in 24 states and 20 locations overseas with a financial portfolio of 3.1B, including foreign military sales and other DoD/Joint/interagency services.  In this position, he led the organization through analysis of complex supply chain management processes, which included assessing vulnerability areas and launching a branding campaign to restore IT supply chain shortages.  Rob has also served as the Chief Information Officer for the Army’s largest organization comprised of 750K+ active duty, National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers and led joint service and coalition partners in development of agile network solutions to meet DoD national defense objectives.  He previously worked as Commandant (Provost) of the Army Signal School where he led 500 faculty and staff to modernize 131 syllabi to professionally upskill 11,000 IT students annually.  Rob earned master’s degrees in Information Resource Management and National Security Strategy and Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.  He is also the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Honorus Causa.  Rob earned the Bronze Star Medal and holds a TS/SCI clearance.
