KnotMyYacht is a revolutionary software platform for the recreational water sport industry. It integrates aspects of fleet management software with a reservation admin dashboard and analytics system aimed at tracking user and sales data to drive revenue growth. This custom-built software solutions allows rental agency staff to seamlessly and conveniently get consumers off land and into the docks and boats of client agencies.This application implanted as a SPA application built on the MEAN stack, backed by a MongoDB hosted on Azure, exposed via a RESTful API. The web client employs AngularJS and responsive web design practices for desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The team employed an agile development process with daily standups and Trello for task management.Delivered phase 1 of the file management system, backed by AWS S3, utilized to manage assets for our inventory throughout the application. Enhanced the billing/invoice tools to capture additional data points, edit other previously read only data. Invoice reporting was also enhanced to account for the possibility of data changes across update operations.
