As a QA software Tester, I would review and assess work developed by Dev Ops, to ensure accuracy, user ability, and operational value. Logging results using the Jira ticketing system, and implementing new changes was a daily occurrence. This work required excellent communication (written and verbal) abilities, as well as an understanding of code, mapping and development procedures. A large variety of testing requirements provided me with a substantial knowledge in IT systems.- Testing software development for in house Debtrak and other programs,- Testing payment facilities on SSA,- Testing 2FA password procedures- Telephony testing and GSM (Cli) setup for each client individually,- (Read only) SQL database server use, mostly for mapping purposes, and error finding.- Regression testing, new account loads and migrated data validations,- Creating tasks in JIRA to align with requirements of clients, - Reporting test results in JIRA, communicating in a way that is understood by management and Developers,- Summarizing data on Confluence pages- Maintained ongoing relationships with external clients and Internal Ops managers to negotiate tasks if required, and provide extra support when needed,- After hours and weekend work including new software releases and updates, to meet go-live time frames,- Integral in weekend releases of new data loads validations, client go-live scenarios, and software updates support.
