I have always been fascinated by the built environment's effect on people. The communities we live in have as much an impact on us as we have on them. I have had the opportunity through my academic and professional career to be exposed to city and regional planning and have fallen in love with the field. My professional goal in life is to work with communities to plan their future, creating places that are resilient and representative of the people who live there.I am energized through interaction with others. I have contributed to concept plans, survey reports, and comprehensive plans. Additionally, my background in history has taught me how to conduct quality research to draft effective reports. I am passionate about good design. I believe that the way a document presents itself is as important as its content. I have skills in creating GIS maps and graphics, and designing document layouts that are clear, professional, and visually pleasing.
