I was previously a Director of Data Sciences at Biogen. I managed a team of 7 FTES and 6+ FSPs while directing Data Sciences activities that supports exploratory research in Real World Evidence at Biogen with experience in R programming for modeling, simulations etc. My group focused on Statiscal Method/Application building, Simulations and Analyses and Real World Data/Exporatory/Biomarker data. I am a accomplished and knowledgeable SAS/R programmer/analyst with almost 15 years combined experience of education and field work within programming, data management, biological and mathematical studies; including inpatient surgical safety procedures, epidemiologic studies, survey research, drug safety, verification and validation, and algorithmic pair-wise genetic alignments.Over 10 years at Biogen I have worked at integrating R analytical platform into exploratory Analysis and key areas within Clinical trial management. I lead development and implementation of the R Validation Hub's Risk Based assessment of R packages, established a GxP R platform for use within submissions, committee member of R in Medicine and R in Pharma as well as a Board member of the R Consortium (recently elected as Vice President). My group and I paved the way for full integration of R into clinical trial workflows.
