Managing Wal-Mart Remodels and All interior and ground up construction

I started as a Project Superintendent managing multiple interior construction projects in the Dallas area. After one year, I was asked to assume a hybrid role of Estimator/Project Manager/Superintendent for small interior projects. This enabled me to be the sole source of contact and handle projects estimating through tenant occupancy. I was then asked to take the lead as Superintendent of the first ground up project for Tri-Tex, Verity Instruments. This project entailed a 25,000 s.f. tilt-up expansion and finish-out, a 45,000 s.f. occupied renovation of the existing space, plus new curtain wall and entry. This work was executed in an occupied electronic manufacturing with a clean room environment.

QC and Superintendent for project Zulu DFW Airport two-mile pipeline to divert glycol de-icing fluid from storm water. Project Manager/Superintendent/QC for DFW Airport administration building boiler upgrade, replaced original boiler with two high efficient gas-fired boilers without interruption to the building. Superintendent/QC for DFW Airport Glycol Ponds - constructed two, three million gallon holding ponds, a 9,000 s.f. building, and reverse osmosis equipment to extract water from glycol. Superintendent for Terminal Station Renovations - renovated existing terminals to transition into new train stations and finished out stations for the Automated People Mover. Superintendent for Dallas Executive Airport, Control Tower, Administration Building, and Conference Center.

Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection trades through various projects. Involved from conceptual design through commissioning of the building and owner acceptance. Worked with professional engineers and owners to complete a design within budget and to owner’s criteria. Other responsibilities were to answer RFI’s, overseeing quality assurance, and approving contractors pay applications and budgets
