As a member of the Executive Team:• Direct the functional areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to retention, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, training, and AAP/EEO.• Work closely with executive leaders and management to advise, counsel, and provide coaching and resolution to address employees’ performance. Provide performance management guidance to all employees including coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of Human Resource policies and procedures. Disseminate information through employee handbooks, communications and/or meetings.• Manage the Human Resource Department and provide guidance or resolution to complex employee relations issues. Determine the need for legal consultation, engage representation, determine litigation strategies, see litigation through to completion.• As the EHS responsible for all divisional companies being 3 manufacturing facilities, 5 warehouses, 9 office buildings, and continuous high risk/high profile construction sites - Design, plan, coordinate, and facilitate programs, policies, and training that foster an environment of safety while always building greater safety awareness and encouraging safe work practices across the organization.• Conduct on-site safety reviews and audits.• Responsible for all Auto, General Liability, Workman’s Compensation, and Property Insurance policies. This includes being the primary contact and resolution decision maker for coverage and claims. • Primary liaison with regulatory agencies or authorities in the event of inspections, complaints, or incidents.• Audit practices and records to ensure compliance with programs and federal/state OSHA regulations. • Chair and facilitate Corporate Safety Steering Committee and Crisis Management Team.

• Review and create company safety, risk, and EPA policies and procedures for all employed trades, concrete, electrical, roofing, freight drivers, mechanics, carpenters, and iron workers.• Ownership of Workman’s Compensation process (root cause investigation, status tracking, return to work, settlement). OSHA record keeping and reporting responsible.• Inspect facilities and work site practices and equipment for OSHA & EPA compliance.• Conduct random OSHA safety & risk inspections of roofing and construction sites. • D.O.T. documentation compliance from new hire to road ready responsible for all drivers (AR-CV, MERV, MVR, RTRTC, MEC, SPHRR, CDVR’s).• Inspect safety equipment, machinery, fleet vehicles, and burglar and fire protection systems.• Partner with and influence management staff & collaborate on methods and strategies leading to improved business success.• General Liability Claims Investigation and Mitigation (determining liability, cost evaluation, resolution).• Evaluate and assess employee and physical building safety & loss prevention needs for businesses.• Create specific organizational safety plans, programs, and policies for clients that meet identified areas of opportunity.• Investigate theft and provide resolution through interviewing and referrals to legal entities.• Provide Human Resources consultation for employee grievances, FMLA, WC, harassment claims, and performance issues, Employee Relations, Complete OSHA 300, 300a & 301 documentation.

• Responsible for all construction & General industry safety & OSHA compliance in the mid-west USA.• Ensure US Safety & Risk program is effective and in place throughout territory.• Investigate root causes of all accidents and create programs to reduce risk. • Supervise several safety departments averaging 50 employees located throughout the Midwest. Provide performance evaluations, mentor, and conduct performance coaching as necessary.
