The Jose Valdes Math Institute (JVMI) provides math instructional services, class instruction and tutoring, to students from underserved and low income communities in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. These services have been provided by JVMI since 1989. The services are delivered at various locations, mostly local universities and community college locations throughout the South Bay and on the San Francisco Peninsula. This dynamic non profit, community based organization provides essential and critical services to our underserved communities. The need is in high demand and JVMI is diligently striving to meet the needs for those who need it most!

The Jose Valdes Math Institute (JVMI) provides math services to underrepresented communities in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Classroom instruction and tutoring services to elementary and middle school age students who math skills are typically below grade level. Providing services since 1989, this dynamic non profit, community based organization deliver essential and critical educational instruction to a segment of our community that otherwise lost in the shuffle.

Provide consulting services specializing in Human Resources, including class and compensation, classification descriptions, personnel policies and procedures, labor and employee relations, labor negotiations, alternative dispute resolution programs and leadership training. Recent clients have been AC Trancit and Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC). Services provided included technical assistance to labor negotiations, developed training components addressing due process and conducting a proper fact-finding investigations for AC, and conducting an executive search and board training for (LCC).
