Staff Attorney
CurrentServe five judges and sixteen magistrates in the Domestic Relations division. Perform legal research and prepare memorandums of law. Draft judgment entries and orders based upon review of transcripts, exhibits (including medical records, school records, financial records, etc.), and other evidence.. Review pleadings and briefs filed by counsel and assist the judges and magistrates with making decisions of law. Track new legislation and case law updates. Provide limited advice to counsel and self-represented individuals regarding court procedure. Part of Domestic Violence procedure committee and Technology committee. Point person on domestic violence law. Assist Website Manager on maintaining and updating the Court’s website.
