I carry out peer reviews for Interchange, an externally refereed educational quarterly. Interchange explores educational theory, research, analysis, history, philosophy, policy, and practices. The journal fosters exchanges among practitioners, policy makers, and scholars and provides a forum for ideas and opinions on issues and trends in education. < https://link.springer.com/journal/10780 >Focusing on frank, often argumentative articles on the fundamental purposes of education, the journal frequently challenges conventional assumptions about general education and higher education from the perspectives of philosophy and the social sciences.

VectorRDI supplied advice and support for governance, executive and management leadership solutions to grow innovation, profitability and productivity. During its lifetime, VectorRDI accomplished this by developing effective diplomatic architectures, coaching and co-leading advanced strategic planning, enhancing project partnerships, setting the conditions for effective vendor and client relations, securing terms of reference for operations, and actioning program articulation and project management. VectorRDI worked to enhance diplomacy, smart networking, best thinking, and strategic and tactical organizational intelligence. VectorRDI assisted other organizations to shape national and international networks and operations, build business relations and profitability, and improve all measures of business and organizational productivity and performance. VectorRDI provided assistance to organizations to custom-build innovation ecologies aimed at optimizing research, development and innovation (RDI) for added value in governance, operations, and commercialization.

I contributed virtually with 8 other Core Council members to strategically explore, develop and apply curricular, instructional, research, business, and technical plans for the Guided Autobiography (GAB) organization.

I carried out peer reviews for She Ji, an open access, peer-reviewed, trans-disciplinary design journal focusing on economics and innovation, design process, and design thinking. Through my company, VectorRDI Ltd., my work as Strategic Business Development Associate with Suggestive Insight Inc. (formerly Dominic Lam and Associates, Inc.) developed novel integrated business solutions for all organizations faced with "Big Data and Big Analytics" challenges.

On a short-term contract through my company, VectorRDI Ltd., I delivered Project Management services to help a large and diverse network of stakeholders collaboratively create, develop, optimize and establish new and increasingly effective service delivery models of Veterinary Laboratory Testing and Disease Surveillance across Western Canada.

On a short-term contract, I carried out consulting Business Opportunity Development work with Carbon Management Canada (CMC; now CMC Research Institutes). The mission of CMC is to lead toward a net zero industrial GHG world. My company, Vector RDI Ltd., partnered with CMC, facilitating two research network projects to coordinate governmental and private research, development, demonstration and commercialization capacities, shortening the cycle time from ideas through development to impact / implementation.

My term contract with PowerOn was successfully completed on 20 Dec 2013. As Deputy Project Manager, I was responsible for collaborative management of a large and complex, critical function, half-billion+ dollar power project -- helping to bring it to closeout. Responsibilities included very rapid-pace problem-solving and "thinking outside the box", broadly-based collaborative team leadership and communications for project planning, procurement, engineering and execution, fulfillment of multiple integrated project threads including information management and contract refinement, and especially solution-finding leading to highest priority "lessons learned" and profitable yields for follow-on projects.

I continued to push forward with business development for the University of Calgary in this one year, term contract position. I represented the Office of the Vice-President, Research after having worked with with the Institute for Space Imaging Science (see previous entry). I continued to build and action broadly based industry relations and networks of academic partnerships, establishing and strengthening government support connections, and research program development that ranged from concept to technologies and from policy to action and application on the ground.

I carried out business development and program management representing the Institute for Space Imaging Science at the University of Calgary after having diversified my responsibilities from project creation and management in cancer stem cell biology. This next step included proactive industry relations, differing academic partnerships, exploratory government relations, and unique research program development focused on major long-term international space imaging science projects. This was particularly the case for Canada's burgeoning participation in and contribution to the global Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project.

From initial concept and vision to collaboratively building essential working scientific, political, technical, and conceptual networks, from ensuring all project components were planned, built and activated on time and on budget to achieving original and truly valuable scientific research output, this was my first authentic and completely original startup -- housed in an institutional context.
