I am a dedicated and highly motivated engineering student pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Concentration from Texas State University. I am scheduled to graduate in December 2023. With a strong academic record and a GPA of 3.34, I have gained valuable knowledge through coursework in Engineering Design, Machine Elements, Automated Manufacturing Processes and Thermo-Fluids.My practical experience as an Engineering Intern at MadMan EV involved converting a classic Lincoln Continental into an electric vehicle, designing a battery module case, and creating a custom cooling system. I am skilled in using software like Fusion 360 and Langmuir Plasma, and I have a solid understanding of project management, cost analysis, and component procurement. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to mentor incoming interns, showcasing leadership and teamwork skills.During my tenure as a Deck Hand at Lakeway Marina, I honed my hands-on expertise in marina operations, boat maintenance, and customer service. I have experience with boat handling, engine maintenance, docking procedures, and ensuring the safety of passengers. Training new staff and adhering to marina rules and regulations have been integral parts of my role.My academic achievements include making the Dean's Honor Roll at Texas State University multiple semesters and receiving scholarships, such as the Star Scholar Award Scholarship and Hydro-Hoist Scholarship. I possess a broad range of technical skills, including proficiency in software like Fusion 360, Mastercam 2022, Creo Parametric & Simulate, Autodesk Inventor, and Microsoft Office. I am also familiar with OSHA standards and have certifications in Boater Education, Mercury Mechanic Apprentice, and CPR – First Aid.In addition to my academic and professional endeavors, I am an active member of the American Foundry Society-Texas State Chapter, where I serve as the Public Relations Officer. I have also been involved in community activities, including the Lakeway City Parade, Brown Santa Boat Parade, and San Marcos Road-Side Clean Up.I am eager to apply my knowledge, skills, and dedication to an engineering role that will allow me to contribute to innovative projects and continue my professional growth.
