• Train and coach up to 10 forklift operators• Conduct employee performance reviews• Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations• Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers• Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels• Schedule and conduct shift safety meetings• Responsible to meet shift production goals• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP's) • Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Operations Manager• Ensure a clean and safe work area

• Present a professional, welcoming first contact to all customers, vendors, board members, staff, etc. by phone, in person, and email• Responsible for keeping office equipment maintained• Responsible for organizational functions and general meeting support: including arranging, follow up calls, maintaining office space schedules, securing food and supplies, copying + faxing • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving• Responsible for maintenance of common spaces for appearance and functionality• Responsible for managing supplies and maintenance of storage areas• Provide support for teams: staff member travel arrangements and expense tracking, program and stipend supplies, etc.• Provide support for Marketing/Communications; maintain mailing list, assist with mailings and packets, web updating • Provide support for IT department: help monitor staff needs, assist staff with problem solving, assist IT staff as requested • Provide support for Human Resources: scheduled interviews for the job applicant pool, filed resume submissions, orientation, monitoring time sheets • Provide support for Finance; monitor staff credit card purchases and documentation, reconcile monthly VISA bill

• Calibration of a variety of instruments including, but not limited to: Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges, Gauge Block Sets, ID & OD Gauges, Torque Wrenches, Threaded Ring Gauges (GO & NOGO). • Utilization of, but not limited to: Gage Block Sets, Universal Length Measurement (ULM) device, Nikon Microscope, Torque Transducers, Optical Comparator, Rockwell Hardness Tester, Set Plugs & Work Plugs.• Shipping and Receiving duties as needed.

• Supervised up to 6 people on a rotating shift.• Determine production needs based on schedule to ensure operational effectiveness. Work in conjunction with Operations Supervisor to improve production and labor efficiency.• Utilize employees in a productive manner to increase shift labor and production efficiencies. Coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, cleaning and maintaining equipment.• Communicate shift performance and address issues including but not limited to safety, quality adherence, operator performance and material usage.• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. Work closely with Quality to ensure adherence to product specifications and good manufacturing practices.• Perform furnace maintenance as directed by the Heat Treat Manager.

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts and work orders within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.• Communicate with necessary department heads to keep them informed on completion dates and schedule modifications. • Advise management concerning remedial action, part rework, or work order remakes to ensure work progresses on schedule. • Investigate cause of critical schedule delays and initiate action to correct the problems.

• Load and unload trucks using forklift/hand truck. • Managed incoming inventory and obtained credit from shippers and transporters for damaged or missing product. • Organize and prepare shipments including assembly, packaging, protection and labeling of containers.• Maintain shipping and receiving materials inventory; anticipate material requirements, place expedited orders for materials, and verify material receipt.

• Compiled Stop-Gap reports to measure performance of 16 Delivery Drivers.• Plan and execute efficient, on-time parcel delivery.• Train new employees on routes and business practices.• Travel to locations out of state to assist in the acquisition of new territories.• Complete routes for those that called in unexpectedly, or were on vacation.
