In September 2024, Clayton Seniors Housing Corporation became a member of the Lanark Community Alliance. Together, the three organizations employ over 300 people, welcome hundreds of volunteers and serve countless individuals and families.In less than two years, the CEO and shared Board have led a series of initiatives including a new strategic plan, integrated leadership roles for greater synergy and the creation of an Advisory Council of lived experience members to ensure the community’s voice is heard.

    SPKM Divisional Mandate: Facilitate, lead, and participate in gathering, connecting and mobilizing people, knowledge and other resources for collective action and change toward shared goalsKey Accomplishments:- On behalf of the Minister of Health and Health Canada, led the planning and staging of the Opioid Conference and Summit (November 2016) which brought together hundreds of stakeholders from across Canada for a national discussion on actions to address the harms related to opioid misuse and abuse in Canada, and to identify concrete actions for moving forward. - Leading the engagement of over 300 key stakeholders in the refresh of the National Framework for Action.- Built, expanded and sustained large-scale national multidisciplinary/cross sectoral partnership networks and knowledge mobilization initiatives on key issues such as opioids, cannabis and alcohol. - Led the planning and staging of CCSA’s National biennial conference (450-500 attendees) – Issues of Substance (2013, 2015 and 2017), including securing all the sponsorships.- Led the development of a comprehensive 10-year, pan-Canadian strategy, First Do No Harm: Responding to Canada's Prescription Drug Crisis in collaboration with the National Advisory Council (NAC) on Prescription Drug Misuse- Led the planning and implementation of a Cross Canada Dialogue with stakeholders in all provinces and territories to discuss key priorities related to addiction and identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange, as well as secure additional funding for the organization.- Worked in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team to reorganize CCSA’s divisions to better support CCSA’s strategic goals.
