His responsibilities were to lead the multidisciplinary engineering teams (onsite and in Khobar) working on the detailed design, review and approve field design changes (including change notices, red line and as built drawings), manage interfaces with construction, commissioning and procurement teams, preparing technical documentation, participate in project risk reviews, undertake contractor documentation reviews, responding to contractor queries, contractor design progress meetings, and answering contractor technical queries and construction queries.
