Starting in 1983, I began as an HR Generalist with duties in Employee Relations, Training &Development, Compensation. In 1991 I became the HR Director for a joint venture company of Hanson and Ameron. I served in that position frrom '91 to 1998 when I returned to the Hanson Corporate HR function as the US Compensation Director. In 2003 I went with a spin off company from Hanson and helped set up a new company - Southern Star Concrete where I remained until it was purchased by a Colombian Cement Company - Argos. After a couple of years I became the USA-wide HR Director for Argos.
