I worked for Gulf Power Company for 40+ years. I am a 28+ year trained and qualified industrial power plant electrician with a specialization in the areas of power generation and Emerson Process Control's Ovation DCS. I moved into a leadership position in the Spring of 2008 and moved throughout the varied roles within the company. Gulf Power was acquired by NextEra Energy, Inc. With this acquisition I was offered an Early Retirement Package. I separated from Gulf Power/NextEra Energy effective December 1, 2019! I wasn’t ready to ‘retire’ so I landed a position as Production Planner with Custom Control Solutions, Inc. located in Cantonment, FL. I moved from that role to the Project Manager role responsible for the Power Utility market. After 2 years with CCS, I was promoted to the position of Production Manager. My responsibilities entailed those of managing the craft personnel responsible for manufacturing and construction of all of the projects that CCS, Inc. was contracted to deliver based on schedules the customer required. I was also managing the communications and technical issues with a variety of major industrial companies throughout the global business community. I started looking for new opportunities in July of 2024. I was fortunate to be asked to interview for a position locally in Pensacola, FL and I I am now working at Armstrong World Industries as a Maintenance Planner. Thanks for viewing my profile!
