I have 8 years of experience in the repair of heavy duty trucks and equipment of all various makes and models. I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years and was in charge of maintenance and Quality control on over 50 trucks and trailers. I currently work for Vestis and have been for 4 years - I am the only mechanic for over 30 large trucks including stepvans (delivery trucks) and diesel box trucks. I take great pride in my work and focus heavily on preventative maintenance to reduce fleet costs while keeping safety the NUMBER ONE priority. I am extremely proficient in complicated electrical repairs, engine replacements, transmission replacements, and very good with drivetrain work in general/ major overhauls, hydraulics, air brake systems, hydraulic brake systems and know how to run a shop independently without supervision. I order all my own parts and keep track of my expenses each month and also log all pm records. I am very knowledgeable on DOT regulations. Every day I strive for safety & most importantly when I fix a vehicle I don’t just fix it - I make it better.
