Robert Fields is one of the countries most respected promoters, band managers and DJs with over 43 years experience in all aspects of the music business.As a promoter, Robert has worked with the likes of Pearl Jam, Dream Theater, Boyzone, Robbie Williams, Ocean Colour Scene, The Buzzcocks and The Average White Band to name but a few.As a band manager he has had bands signed in America, Japan and BMG in Britain.As a DJ has officiated at private parties for Robbie Williams, , Wet Wet Wet, Boyzone and a special Blue Peter Appeal in the S.E.E.C.Robert also offers a music business information service called Scottish Musicians Advisory Service & Helpline or S.M.A.S.H.He is also the author of the best selling book "Minstrels Poets & Vagabonds" the 50 year history of the Glasgow Rock Scene and the soon to be released the "Knowledge" an insiders guide to the Music and Entertainment industry with contributions from all the top movers and shakers covering their career moves within their chosen fields.Robert also host his own two hour "The Knowledge" "Rock/Metal" show on Camglen Radio on107.9 FM every Sunday from 7-9pm and his breakfast 60/70's "Strawberry Fields" show every Friday morning 9-10 am once again on Camglen Radio on 107.9 FM both shows superbly produced by "Derek McCutcheon"
