As a volunteer teaching attending (specialist register) in the vascular department, duties were: consult and discuss with new admitted patient; prescribing investigations and participating in the diagnostic team meetings; perform in theatre as first operator or first assistant mainly in vascular cases but also in cardiac emergencies; on-call duties once a week; participating in professional meeting (congresses, conferences, seminaries) and to publishing activity together with other colleagues; running vascular Doppler ultrasound on admitted cases, outpatient cases and on demand for other departments; teaching junior residents.
