A highly driven individual Robert is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Chartered Institute of Building, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a Chartered Construction Manager. He has experience on a wide range of projects using various procurement methods, and construction techniques, and has a proven track record of delivering projects to budget with minimal disputes. He is skilled in both the pre-contract and delivery stages of projects, in a wide variety of markets. He is a lateral thinker who strives for ‘Best Value’ and is a loyal and collaborative team player. His personal strengths include being open, honest, and having a flexible approach. He thrives under pressure and is used to working to tight parameters. He enjoys working to exacting standards, cost conscious by nature and strives to ensure success through pro-active management.As well as a model engineer, building large scale steam engines in his spare time, he is Chairman of Hampshire Industrial Archaeology Society, having held the position of Chairman on a number of occasions over the last 20 years. Held the position of Newsletter Editor for the Southampton Heritage Federation, and is a trustee of Twyford Waterworks, where he is also one of a team of Archivists.
