Diversity & Inclusion Trainer And Advisor

o Managed the largest financial reporting project within the financial reporting department with 42 sub-funds under an umbrella fund and produced a 766-page financial statement. The umbrella fund was UCITS regulated. o Reviewed Trial Balances, Portfolios, Balance Sheets, disclosures and notes prepared by 4 junior staff and managed their schedule to ensure all work was completed to the required standard and on time. There was a substantial volume of information to be monitored due to the large number of share classes held under the umbrella fund. Approximately 350 share classes. o Took complete ownership of the project and liaised with auditors, publishers and regulators. o Filed the fully completed financial statements with the regulator within the 4 month deadline for the yearly and 2 month deadline for the half yearly. A draft was provided to the board of directors, within weeks of the period ends, for their review.o Supervised the preparation and transfer of all financial reporting information pertaining to the umbrella fund under the companies restructure and outsourcing to a third party.o Produced financial statements from my positions as junior accountant to senior accountant of various complexity, size and structure reporting under IFRS, UCITS regulation, Irish and UK GAAP and US GAAP.o Trained all new members of the team including scheduling, monitoring ensuring high standards and providing follow up as mentor. o Recognised ability in identifying areas for improvement and using innovative techniques and Excel/systems skills to improve procedures and controls, along with updating procedural documents and checklists.o Led the production of consistently high quality institutional client service reports on a monthly and quarterly basis. o Liaised with internal departments across the company and internal / external auditors to resolve queries.
