•Owner of site’s AC system analysis including load studies, voltage studies, system coordination and protection.•Perform and review AC and DC electrical analysis including load flow, voltage studies, system/device coordination and protection.•Provide recommended device or operating set points based on results of analysis.•Evaluate design changes for impact on plant operation or equipment.•Provide recommendations to management for improvements to increase operating margin.•Provide input to design projects to ensure that design will meet plant or system requirements.•Review designs requiring PE review.•Perform evaluations to analyze equipment conditions or operations to meet plant and/or regulatory requirements.•Understand regulatory requirements applicable to site’s electrical system and ensure site electrical analysis meets those requirements.

•Perform distribution system analysis including system configuration, load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, and arc flash hazard analysis for municipal and industrial customers.•Perform distribution system design including medium and low voltage distribution, emergency power generation, and building electrical systems.•Perform instrumentation and control system design including motor control systems, variable frequency drives, actuators, field instrumentation, analog and discrete inputs and outputs, programmable logic controllers, human-machine interface, control panels, and control schemes.•Perform network communication design including wired, fiber optics, and wireless networks.•Responsible for oversight of the technical aspects of the entire design and implementation including electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation and control plans, specifications and software development. Oversee and direct other engineers and technicians.•Project implementation including shop drawing review, on-site field construction observation, contractor coordination and review, start-up and commissioning, and testing of electrical and control systems.•Project budget estimation, ROI calculation and analysis, engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, engineering recommendations.•Project management responsibilities including budgeting, scheduling, coordination, project status meetings, and project oversight.
