Lead all procurement and sale s activity for Dan-Mar Electronics

Robert Fleckner is the Senior Procurement Program Manager for Unitary and Airside products in North America and has a staff 8 Procurement Program Managers and New Product Development Commodity Mangers that are responsible for all of the direct material suppliers in 9 commercial Trane plants throughout North America that is approximately $1 billion in spend. The responsibity the team has for the suppliers range from negotiations, contract adherence, supplier risk, and productivity development. He spent 7 years in the United States Marine Corps and then earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toledo. As a Marine was part of the instructor’s staff for extreme cold weather, and water survival schools, as an electrical engineer for Von Duprin designed multiple versions of door operators, power supplies, and alarm systems, as team lead for the PPMs drove direct material productivity that exceeded targets every year for 4 years with NPD projects that delivered on requirements. As we lead through 2017 we are on pace to have the best year yet by driving $32.66M on a $26.36M target, driving 17 NPD projects, and working with troubled suppliers to maintain supply continuity. It is a privilege to be a part of the procurement team and working with the other internal external teams to insure that current and future programs exceed the company’s requirements.

-Drove the global commodity strategy in direct material for two commercial Trane plants -Lead the procurement direct material suppliers for 2 locations (Clarksville Tennessee and Lynn Haven Florida) -insured that the 2013 combined price target of $7.98 M for Clarksville and Lynn Haven was exceeded by driving additional projects that produced $9.3M in productivity. -Exceeded overall unitary goal for Clarksville and Lynn Haven by $1.32M, while managing the two largest spend locations in Trane.-Managed 2 diverse and dynamic locations (Lynn Haven and Clarksville). -Insured that standard work being introduced is understood such the 1A, 7 step, scrum, …… . -Ran 14 supplier events between Clarksville and Lynn Haven generating over $8 million in opportunities -Developed projects through supplier visits and including stakeholders that executed in under 8 months. -Develop a playbook that Insured better project execution

Responsible for twenty nine plus electrical products produced by multiple manufacturers within Ingersoll-RandReview and update designs that are experiencing obsolescent part issuesRedesign circuits when issues from the customers are identified and cause the boards to operate outside of design specificationsContributed to and preformed quality functions such as incoming inspections, supplier issues, and manufacturing issuesInterface with the end users to understand their needs and opportunity for changes to improve the product (voice of the customer) Travel to various location within the United States and Mexico to repair or replace products that are experiencing issues
